REPORT: LOWER TWP. MUA DIRECTOR SUSPENDED WITHOUT PAY

It could be the end of the line for Lower Township Municipal Utilities Authority Executive Director Matthew Eckert.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that on Friday Eckert was suspended without pay and turned in his company car, cell phone, and other amenities.  Eckert was arrested last week for alleged witness tampering and obstructing the administration of the law per an investigation by the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office.
