A fishing pier may be coming to North Cape May, on the bayside. The Cape May County Herald reports that Lower Township Mayor Mike Beck floated the idea of a municipal fishing pier to be built at Lincoln Avenue and the bay in North Cape May, near the Cape May Lewes Ferry terminal. Beck says he has talked to state officials already regarding funding for a municipal fishing pier. Councilmen Walt Craig and Glenn Douglass have both endorsed the idea.
