There are plenty of people conducting short term rentals of homes illegally in Lower Township, and the Township is now making that practice stop. The Cape May Star and Wave reports that the Township will spend over $26,000 with a company to crack down on rental properties that have no rental licenses. Township Manager Mike Laffey says these rentals are located in Diamond Beach, North Cape May, Villas, and Erma, close to the ocean in many cases.
