REPORT: LOWER MAYOR BLASTS GOP FOR COUNTY HIRES

The jobs are politically connected to the republican party, and Lower Township Mayor Mike Beck doesn’t like it one bit.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that Beck is questioning several county jobs that have recently been given to republican members of his township’s council.  One of them involves a part time job given to Deputy Mayor Kevin Lare in the purchasing department.  Lare responds by saying Beck receives county health insurance benefits since his wife works at the Crest Haven Nursing Home.
