A controversial school funding dispute between Lower Township and Cape May has resulted in the Lower Cape May Regional School District not allowed to absorb new debt. Superintendent Chris Kobik says similar school funding battles have lasted in the courts for years; if that happens in this case, it could result in much larger repair bills for the Lower Cape May Regional School District.
