REPORT: LOCAL MAN FAKED HIS OWN DEATH TO ESCAPE BANK THEFT CHARGES

51 year old Andrew Biddle of Egg Harbor Township has admitted to faking his own death in order to avoid charges of defrauding a bank.  NJ.com reports today that Biddle pleaded guilty to a charge of sending a phony distress signal to the United States Coast Guard that resulted in a two day search.  Biddle reportedly lied seven years ago in order to get a loan from a bank.
