Budget shortfalls are hurting Atlantic City and cuts are likely coming from public safety. A new report by the Press of Atlantic City says that Mayor Lorenzo Langford wants $16 million removed from the budget, with about $10 million coming from the police and fire departments combined. The cuts span 12 departments in total. The city has been dealing with a large deficit and Langford is making moves to try and keep the budget together.
