REPORT: JUDGE TO RULE ON PRIVACY ISSUE IN THE CREST

A judge will rule next week regarding a privacy issue involving letters dealing with the Wildwood Crest Police Department.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that Superior Court Judge Nelson Johnson will rule sometime next week whether two letters that prompted two Wildwood Crest police officers to take an early retirement should be considered public documents.  County Prosecutor Robert Taylor claims that the letters written to Mayor Carl Groon were confidential.
