A new report says it would take a minimum wage worker 94 hours per week to make enough to get by. The report is entitled “The Job Gap” and is written by The Alliance for A Just Society. The current minimum wage in the state is $8.38 per hour and the report says the living wage for a single adult in the state is $19.76 per hour. According to the data they complied, New Jersey is the fifth worse state in the country for a workers minimum wage versus living wage.
