The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office will hold a press conference this morning to outline serious corruption charges that are being filed against Middlesex County democratic party leader Joseph Spicuzzo. According to a report on NJ.com, Spicuzzo showed up at New Jersey State Police barracks Monday morning to turn himself in. He will be charged with bribery and a pattern of “official misconduct”, according to the report. Spicuzzo was a former sheriff for three decades and he currently serves on the New Jersey Sports and Exhibition Authority. He was nominated to the post on the authority by former governor Jon Corzine.
