REPORT: FRANK THEATER COMPANY HAS BIG PLANS FOR RIO MALL

The closing of KMart at the Rio Mall in Rio Grande will provide a big opportunity for the Frank Movie Theater to add four screens and 500 new seats to its complex.  The Middle Township Gazette reports that Frank Theaters is working to fill stores in the mall with a mix of retail and entertainment once KMart closes at the end of March.  Chief Executive Officer Bruce Frank told the Gazette that KMart still has 18 months left on its lease so the company is not under duress to fill the space immediately.
