Four former governors of the State of New Jersey do not want Robert Barr of Cape May County to be approved for participation on the Pinelands Commission. The Gazette Leader reports that the four governors issued a letter Monday attempting Barr from taking the place of Robert Jackson on the Commission. The move is seen by some as a way to get the Commission to approve a natural gas pipeline through the Pinelands. The pipeline would run from Millville to Beesley’s Point.
