St. Joseph’s High School football coach Paul Sacco is recovering from a medical emergency this week. The 53-year old Sacco was hospitalized this week for having some blood on the brain. Sacco felt ill earlier this week and complained of a headache and high blood pressure. Some of his players and coaches visited with him in the hospital, and Sacco told them he hopes to return to the sidelines within a week. The Press of Atlantic City reports that Sacco’s St. Joseph’s football team has won 243 games in his career.
