REPORT: FIRE GUTS PROPERTY IN MIDDLE TOWNSHIP

An early morning fire has destroyed a home and business located on Route 47 in Middle Township.  Middle Township Police say that a large home located at  325 Rte 47 South in Green Creek went up in smoke and flames early Tuesday morning.  The home was also used for a heating and cooling business.  Fire experts believe the blaze started at the front of the building, and the cause is under investigation.  Green Creek and Rio Grande Fire companies initially responded to the scene. Villas and Goshen Fire companies were subsequently called and assisted. There was no one home at the time of the fire
