REPORT: FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SPENDING $1 MILLION TO PROTECT WETLANDS

The federal government is spending $1 million to permanently protect some wetlands near the Tuckahoe Wildlife Management Area.  NJ.com reports that the grant is being given by the feds to the state’s green acres program.  More than 500 acres will be protected.
