REPORT: ERROR BY MIDDLE TOWNSHIP PLANNING BOARD PUTS HOTEL IN LIMBO

An error made by the Middle Township Planning Board has put a hotel project in the community in limbo.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that a resolution from the Board was not worded properly, and now Township officials cannot approve the development of a Hampton Inn hotel near the Garden State Parkway.  An attorney for the property owner says if the deal falls through, a convenience store may be built there and the property sold off to another developer.
