Reports Sunday suggest that the Philadelphia Eagles are going to slap the franchise tag on quarterback Michael Vick, and attempt to trade backup quarterback Kevin Kolb. ESPN reports that the Eagles will put the tag on Vick, meaning he’ll be back with the Birds for another season. The network also says that the Eagles will shop around Kevin Kolb to teams who need a starting quarterback. Vick made it to the Pro Bowl this year, but his season ended with a playoff interception to Green Bay’s Tramon Williams in another one and done playoff appearance for Philadelphia.
