REPORT: CREST SEEKS GENERATOR FOR EMERGENCY SHELTER

Wildwood Crest is looking to secure a large generator to create an emergency shelter in the community. Mayor Carl Groon told the Wildwood Leader that he would like the generator to be purchase before winter so the Crest Memorial School can be used as an emergency shelter during a storm event or another emergency. The Crest has received a $75,000 FEMA grant to help pay for the cost of the emergency generator for the building.
