REPORT: CREST MAY CUT HYDROFEST FUNDING

It’s possible a big postseason event in Wildwood Crest may see its funding cut after this year.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that Crest officials may cut some funding after this year for the Sunset Lake Hydrofest, a boat racing event that takes place on Sunset Lake in the community.  Wildwood Crest Commissioner Don Cabrera says after this year funding for the event will be decreased to allow for new tourism events and advertising opportunities.  The money for the event comes out of the Wildwood Crest Tourism Development Commission.
