REPORT: CONTROLLED BURNS COMING TO ATLANTIC COUNTY

Over 160 acres of parkland in Atlantic County will be burned next year to help fight forest fires.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that controlled burns are planned for the Atlantic County Park in Estell Manor, and at the Warren Fox Nature Center.  The controlled burns will take place during the first quarter of 2015.  Weather and wind direction will help determine when the burns occur.
