It seemed like State Senator Richard Codey was going to run for governor. But apparently he has changed his mind. The Star-Ledger was told by the senator that he has decided against running for governor. Codey had recently traveled to Washington D.C. to try and secure funding for a potential run. Polls showed Codey performed the best against Gov. Chris Christie in a potential match up, but was still about 30 points behind in the latest Quinnipiac University poll.
