A new report shows Gov. Chris Christie has taken care of his friends as chairman of the Republican Governor’s Association. NJ.com reports that two of Christie’s friends advantaged financially from dealings by Christie within the organization. A spokesman for the Republican Governor’s Association downplayed the thought of their being any wrongdoing, saying “staff and consultants serve at the pleasure of the RGA chairman.” Christie has been credited with the strong Republican gubernatorial results in the election on Tuesday and raising a record amount of money as chairman.
