A new report says that Gov. Chris Christie has almost double the amount of people making over $100,000 in his office than Gov. Jon Corzine had. The data comes from the Asbury Park Press’ online database of public payroll records, which shows Christie has 34 people over the $100,000 threshold, while Corzine had 18. In total, an analysis by the reports says that Christie is spending almost $2 million more in salaries. Christie’s office said that Corzine hid how much he spent by placing some of his employees in other agencies, which would bring the two numbers much more in line with one another.
