Some statements made by a murder suspect who has ties to this area will not be admissible in court. The Press of Atlantic City reports that some statements made by George J. Carty III during an interrogation at a West Virginia police department cannot be used in his upcoming trial. A state appellate court ruled that the statements cannot be used. Carty is accused of killing John Attenborough in Cape May County back in July, 1982. Carty has maintained his innocence.
