REPORT: CAPE TEENAGER DIES WHILE PLAYING HOCKEY

A Dennis Township teenager died Friday evening en route to a local hospital after he passed out while playing roller hockey.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that 15 year old Michael Fisher, a sophomore at Cape May County Technical High School, died as medical officials were transporting him to a local hospital.  Fisher collapsed while playing hockey at a sports complex on Dennisville Road shortly after 6:00pm Friday.  Fisher’s stepfather told The Press that the teen had a congenital heart murmur, but was cleared to play sports.  Family members say Fisher was an A and B student at the school, and wanted to be a doctor.
