BIKES COULD BE BANNED AT MIDDLE TWP. SKATE PARK

The Middle Township Committee is poised to ban bicycles at its skate park.  Middle Township Committeeman Tim Donohue told Coastal Broadcasting that township committee introduced an ordinance Monday evening that would ban the use of bicycles at the skate park.  This follows an accident between a bicyclist and a skateboarder last month that resulted in an Atlantic County man who was riding the bike to be airlifted away from the park with a head injury.  A second reading of the ordinance is scheduled for March 5th.
