So far, no special events have been booked on the Wildwood municipal beachfront in 2014. The Wildwood Leader reports that the Board of Commissioners have not approved a single event for the city’s beachfront this year. Mayor Ernie Troiano told the Leader that there are some disagreements over approving beach events until beach event fees are being worked out. The city wants to charge fees based on the number of people who may show up.
