REPORT: ATLANTICARE TO BECOME PART OF GEISINGER HEALTH SYSTEM

AtlantiCare will announce later this week that it’s becoming part of the Geisinger Health System.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that a formal announcement will come on Thursday.  Merger talks began nearly two years ago.  AtlantiCare’s 5100 employees are safe, and their jobs will be preserved.
