REPORT: ATLANTIC COUNTY MAY FURLOUGH WORKERS FOR UP TO TEN DAYS

Atlantic County may have to furlough its workers for up to ten days to avoid job cuts.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that the county is considering a furlough of its county employees in order to help stabilize the county tax rate.  County Executive Dennis Levinson says if the furloughs do not occur, about 20 jobs would have to be eliminated from county government.
