REPORT: AREA HOSPITALS TALK MERGER

Two major hospitals could be looking at a merger. The Philadelphia Business Journal reports that there are “serious” talks between South Jersey Healthcare and Underwood-Memorial Hospital to have a merger. The report cited sources, neither hospital is willing to make public comment. Underwood-Memorial Hospital is in Gloucester County.
