The union representing Atlantic City’s firefighters say it plans to appeal a ruling by a local judge that the state can change its contract, cut hours, and change other provisions of their contract. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the union plans to fight the decision, saying it results in a 25 percent decrease in compensation.
