REPORT: AC AIRPORT COULD BE LEASED OR SOLD

According to a report online from the Press of Atlantic City, the Atlantic City International Airport may soon be leased or sold.  The Press reports that the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey could acquire the local airport and then greatly expand its operations.  Senate President Steve Sweeney confirmed to the Press that he is aware of the negotiations.  The South Jersey Transportation Authority currently operates the airport.
