On Saturday the American Red Cross distributed free smoke detectors to dozens of Vineland residents. The distribution was part of a nationwide program initiative for the Red Cross. The program started at the Rock of Salvation Church and spread through several neighborhoods. Volunteers helped to install smoke detectors and educate homeowners on their use.
