The United States Coast Guard says a 59 year old man lost his life in a boating accident near Ocean City Wednesday afternoon. Another man, 79 years of age, was also injured and taken to an area hospital. The 26 foot center console boat was discovered beached onshore near where the ocean meets the Great Egg Inlet. The men left from the Somers Point Marina earlier in the morning. The two men were spotted in the ocean by a Coast Guard helicopter.
