RECORD BREAKING TEMPERATURES FOR SOUTH JERSEY

The thermometer hit 101 degrees at the Atlantic City Airport Wednesday afternoon, breaking the record. Temperatures reached as high as 99 degrees in Wildwood and Millville. The latest heat wave, which arrived on Sunday, was brought to a close Wednesday evening when a series of thunderstorms hit South Jersey and knocked out electrical power to over 6,000 customers in Atlantic County.
