RECALL PETITION COULD BE COMING AGAINST VENTNOR MAYOR

On Sunday about one dozen Ventnor residents met to consider whether they would file a recall petition against Mayor Michael Bagnell. Members of the group, Ventnor Concerned Citizens, have accused the mayor of “cronyism” and improper planning before and during Hurricane Sandy. Bagnell has reportedly disputed the allegations of the group that sent a letter to Ventnor residents, seeking a candidate to replace the mayor. A recall petition would require signatures of 25 percent of the registered voters in Ventnor.
