A rally was held in Trenton on Thursday by the Building One New Jersey group and a local leader had a message for lawmakers. The pastor of the Abundant Life Worship Center in Egg Harbor Township was one of the speakers at the rally, organized to send Governor Christie a message to include adequate funding for education in his proposed state budget for 2014. The group claims that funding for New Jersey schools has been short by $3.6 billion over the past three years and asked for the state’s school funding formula to be fully implemented.
