RAIN CONTINUES TO SOAK THE GARDEN STATE

The National Weather Service has posted a Coastal Flood Watch for Cape May County for this evening.  A very slow moving storm will dump plenty of rain on our region throughout the day today, with some thunderstorms expected.  Rain will be heavy at times as it fetches off the ocean.  Winds will gust out of the east at 15-20 mph which means the flood watch is needed.  There could be minor coastal flooding throughout the shore today in areas that typically see high water.  High tide will take place at the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge between Avalon and Sea Isle City at 8:52pm.
