QUESTIONS OF SCHOOL FUNDING HEADING BACK TO SUPREME COURT

The state’s Supreme Court will likely have another looking at Gov. Chris Christie’s funding cuts to schools. A special master that was appointed to looking at the cuts said that they violated previously set rules for how funding should take place in the state and overreached in the funding taken from struggling districts. The special master noted that his reach was limited. The Supreme Court has the option to move on his findings or uphold what the Christie administration said was fair and equal cuts.
