A new report says that Gov. Chris Christie’s office is trying to pick a more friendly crowd for his town hall discussions. The Star-Ledger reports an e-mail was sent out to a local official in Hoboken, asking that teachers not be invited to the town hall meeting. According to the report, the governor’s office said the town hall meeting was on property taxes and not school issues and they wanted to keep it that way. In the end, no one was excluded from coming that wanted to, but the report suggests that the office tried to manage the guest list initially.
