PUSH TO FILL SPOT LEFT VACANT BY JC PENNY IN CUMBERLAND

The J.C. Penny department store closed at the Cumberland Mall earlier this month and now officials are trying to fill that gap in the mall very quickly.  The Cumberland County Improvement Authority is searching for a new anchor store for the mall now that Penny’s is gone.  The J.C. Penny store was important for other shops in the mall who renew their leases based on a strong anchor store.
