PUERTO RICO REF– USES EXTRADITION OF ACC– USED MURDER ARRESTED IN MIDDLE TOWNSHIP

A murder suspect wanted out of Puerto Rico has been released because Puerto Rico has refused extradition. The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office contacted the office of Governor Chris Christie and offers were made to assist Puerto Rico with the financial burden of extradition, but they still refused to extradite Johnathan-Rodriquex Ocasio. This refusal by Puerto Rico triggers an automatic dismissal of the Fugitive from Justice Charge and Ocasio was released from the Cape May County Correctional Facility. He was wanted for the murder of an 84-year-old.
