PUBLIC MEETING TUESDAY EVENING ON SCHOOL ISSUE IN LOWER

Lower Township has announced that a special public informational meeting will be held at Lower Cape May Regional High School Tuesday at 6:30pm to discuss two controversial school funding questions that will appear on two ballots in the coming weeks.  At issue is a school funding formula that some believe is unfair for all sending districts involved in the regional school district.  Even though a press release says there will be no advocacy for either side of the project, the same release also notes that the Township is urging voters to vote “no” on both school funding questions.
