PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULED ON WILDWOOD BUDGET

Wildwood residents have address their concerns about the budget during a meeting this week. City Commission has scheduled a public hearing on the budget that is supposed to bring a zero tax increase this year. The zero increase currently hinges on a $600,000 land deal to bring a solar park into the back bay of the community. The city will open request for proposals on that land on Tuesday and could have a contract awarded by Wednesday. If the deal is finalized, there is a chance an adoption of the budget could happen on Wednesday as well.
