On Thursday the prosecution rested it’s case in the trial of two former aides of Gov. Christie for closing access lanes to the George Washington Bridge as political retribution against the mayor of Fort Lee. A video of Bill Baroni’s testimony before a N.J. legislative committee was shown in which Baroni testified that the lane closures were part of a traffic study. Bridget Kelly and Baroni pleaded not guilty to the charges against them and claim their superiors were also involved but have avoided prosecution.
