PROPOSED LAW REQUIRES EZ PASS TO TELL YOU WHEN YOU PAID A TOLL

A new proposed law will force the operators of the EZ Pass toll collection system to instantly notify you whenever you pay a toll.  The New Jersey Assembly approved a measure Monday that would require instant notification so you can make sure you are not overcharged by EZ Pass.  Each toll lane on state toll roads would be required to install a device that would automatically alert you to when you actually paid a toll.
