PROPOSED BILL WOULD REQUIRE PET GROOMERS TO BE LICENSED

There is a proposed bill in Trenton that would force pet groomers to be licensed. If passed, New Jersey would become the first state in the country to require it. The groomers would have to be 18 and pass a test from the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. The only regulations on pet grooming in the country is in a couple of cities, but not passed statewide.
