Gov. Chris Christie told a national audience on CNN on Sunday that there were “promising leads” on finding those responsible for detonating a pipe bomb at the Semper Five footrace on Saturday in Seaside Heights. The FBI is working with local authorities as they continue to investigate the explosion that occurred before the race began, and fortunately there were no injuries. Christie added that investigators do not believe the incident is connected to the explosion in Manhattan on Saturday that injured 29 people.
