PROM TO BE CONVENTION HALL’S FIRST EVENT

What will be the first event in the new Cape May Convention Hall? The 2012 Lower Cape May Regional High School Junior Senior Prom. The Cape May Gazette reports that the prom will be part of the new convention hall’s “soft opening”, scheduled for Saturday, May 12th. Cape May Mayor Ed Mahaney confirmed that the prom will be the first event in the new hall. Mahaney says Cape May cops will likely block off the street in front of the facility since hundreds of onlookers will be on hand to check out the couples attending the prom.
