It looks like North Jersey democrat Vinnie Prieto will be the next speaker of the New Jersey Assembly. Prieto has secured signatures from over 40 members of the Assembly who will vote for him to become the next speaker, replacing Shelia Oliver. Only seven assembly democrats failed to sign the letter to support Prieto.
